How does Collagen work?
Our Beauty Blend includes 5000mg of Marine Collagen, which is taken from cold water fish. It is refined to ensure it doesn't smell or taste fishy, but also retains all of the nutritional value.
Your body uses it to make more collagen, which is great for healthier skin, hair, and nails. Plus, we add Vitamin C to help your body use the collagen better and to protect your skin from sun damage.
Should I take the Beauty Blend every day?
Consistency is the most critical element of establishing any healthy habit. To get the most out of your Rare Forms Beauty Blend, we recommend one serving daily.
How much protein do I actually need?
In the UK, the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) for Men & Women, aged between 19 - 49 years old, is 55.5g & 45g respectively. This recommendation was set in 1991. No adjustments are made for height or weight.
In Australia, the RDI for Men & Women, aged between 19 - 50 years old, is 64g & 46g respectively. This recommendation was updated in 2023 and also made no adjustments for height or weight.
Dr. Peter Attia, a leading expert on Longevity and author of Outlive (a read we highly recommend), believes that "standard government recommendations for daily consumption are a joke." Attia suggests we need between 1.6 - 2.2g per kg of body weight.
Why do you use Whey Protein and not Plant Protein?
We use whey protein as it's a powerhouse of complete nutrition - containing all the essential amino acids your body needs. It's not only superior in terms of absorption but also supports muscle repair and growth effectively, compared to plant proteins.
What's the best liquid to mix my Beauty Blend with?
For a thicker shake-like consistency we suggest blending with 200-250ml of any milk.
It does also work well with water.
